Satyashodhak is a Marathi biopic drama movie written and directed by Nilesh Raosaheb Jalamkar starring Sandeep Kulkarni in the lead role.The movie is said to narrate the life of the social reformer and writer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, who was integral to the eradication of untouchability and the dismantling of the caste system which systemically oppressed people who weren’t from the upper ranks of the caste hierarchy.
