An open-minded lawyer named Roman J. Israel has been fighting the good fight while others take the credit. When his partner, has a heart attack, Israel is made to take that role. Soon he finds out what his firm has done which is unsettling which is against his value of helping the poor and dispossessed. So now he has to take extreme action agains his own firm.
