Neerja is a biopic film starring Sonam Kapoor, Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. The movie established Sonam Kapoor's foothold in the film industry. A true story of an airhostess Neerja Bhanot who was to fly from Mumbai to New York via Karachi and Frankfurt. While stopping in Karachi, the plane gets hijacked by terrorists and they start killing multiple innocents onboard.
