Naachiyaar is a Tamil drama film produced and directed by Bala. Naachiyaar features Jyothika and G. V. Prakash Kumar in the lead roles. Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for this film and Eashwar is doing the cinematography. The film began production during March 2017. Film producer Rockline Venkatesh has also joined the cast to play a supporting role. It is reported that the story of the movie is based on the life of psycho killer Jayaprakash, who killed nine of his relatives in the 1980’s at Valasaravakkam, Chennai.
