Metre Gauge 1904 is directed by Pradeep M. Nair, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. This will be his second association with the director after the movie 'Vimanam'. According to the director Pradeep, Metre gauge 1904 is a historical fiction and narrates the events related to the work of Travancore's first metre gauge, the Kollam-Sengottai line.
