Maidaan is an upcoming Hindi movie based on the sports biographical film directed by Amit Ravindrenath Sharma and jointly produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. The film features Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in the lead roles. Devgn stars as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The film will tell the story of the golden era of Indian football 1952-1962.
