After learning about the role played by his grandfather in building a dam for the villagers, Lingaa, a petty thief, reforms and commits himself to saving it from a corrupt minister. Lingaa is a Tamil Action movie directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The movie stars Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty, in the lead roles and Sonakshi Sinha, Jagapati Babu in Supporting roles.The movie is produced under the banner Rockline Productions. Music is composed by A. R. Rahman. R. Rathnavelu has handled the cinematography while Samjith Mohammed has done the editing.
