Last Flag Flying is a novel bases upcoming American comedy, drama movie Directed by Richard Linklater. It is a sequel to the 1973 film The Last Detail. Last Flag Flying is about three Marines who have served thirty years together in Vietnam. All three unite to bury son of Larry "Doc" Shepherd, a young Marine killed in the Iraq War.
