Kolaiyuthir Kaalam is an Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller film directed by Chakri Toleti and co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Yuvan Shankar Raja. It features Nayanthara in the lead role. Kolaiyuthir Kaalam is a ferociously terrifying tale of a young lady. Nayanthara will play a deaf and mute character. This film is not an adaptation of the Sujatha Rangarajan novel Kolaiyuthir Kalam. First look poster was released on 18 November 2016. Tamannaah Bhatia is reprising Nayanthara's role in Hindi remake.
