Kerebete is a Kannada drama movie co-written and directed by Gurushiva Hitaishi starring Gourishankar and Bindu Shivaram in the lead roles.Kerebete is a special event celebrated in the villages of Uttara Kannada district, where fishes are hunted underwater with the help of a bamboo trap.This hunting which usually takes place during April-May is a feast for the eyes of the spectators and prestige for the fishing enthusiasts.
