Kedarnath is a Hindi film written, directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. It features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles which marks the latter's debut in acting. Kedarnath's story is set against the holy temple of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to reports, the film is an inter-faith love story, set against the backdrop of the devastating Uttarakhand floods. Sushanth Singh Rajput will be seen portraying the role of a Pithu, who carries pilgrims to the shrine while Sara Ali Khan will play the role of a young woman, a rich tourist, who will be accompanying a pilgrim to Kedarnath. The film revolves around their love story.
