Kannitheevu is a Tamil action,adventure film directed by Sundar Balu starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Dutta, Ashna Zaveri, Subiksha in lead roles.The story revolves around four girls who are friends residing in a housing board colony. They are on a mission to rescue someone who has gotten into a problem. But then, at a crucial juncture, they find themselves trapped in a lake inhabited by a crocodile. They take on the animal, and try to escape from the lake.The four girls are helped in defeating the crocodile by the boatman, played by Naan Kadavul Rajendran.
