Kalakkathu Kunchan Nambiar is a Malayalam historical drama movie directed by Hariharan starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mammootty in the lead roles.The movie is said to be based on thelife of Kalakkathu Kunchan Nambiar who was an early Malayalam poet, performer, satirist and the inventor of local art form of Ottamthullal.Prithviraj plays the role of Kunchan Nambiar and Mammootty plays a cameo role as king Marthanda Varma.
