Eeda is a Malayalam movie directed by B. Ajithkumar, noted film editor. The film is a Love Story set in Kerala. Eeda stars Shane Nigaam, Nimisha Sajayan, Surabhi Lakshmi in the lead roles. 'Eeda' is a Kannur-Kozhikode slang word which means 'Ivide' or 'here'. The story is set in north Malabar region of Kerala. Anand (Shane Nigam) is an MBA graduate who works in an entry level managerial post in an insurance company. He happens to meet Aishwarya (Nimisha Sajayan). The film is inspired by Romeo and Juliet and is based on how Aiswarya, a student from Mysuru, falls for the character played by Shane Nigam.
