The movie is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat whose daughters Geeta and Babita won medals at the commonwealth and olympics for wrestling. A former state-level wrestler takes charge for his daughters by giving them training in wrestling and ultimately making them gold medalists in various international events.
