The concept of face swapping is no more a strange thing to movie buffs. Boomerang begins with an intense surgery done to Siva as doctors think it's the only way out to rectify his facial deformities. Hos face is swapped with that of Sakthi's (Atharvaa). Siva, who gets a new lease of life, plans to start a business to take care of his family. Little did he know that he has to face several issues in the coming days. After getting attacked a couple of times by some strangers, Siva realises that someone is after his life. Read full review

The premise of R Kannan’s Boomerang is interesting but due to a screenplay that travels all around, it falters. It is a message-oriented film with loads of commercial entertainment elements, but the final mix leaves you with a sour taste. Atharvaa plays two different characters, has two heroines - Megha Akash and Induja and two comedians friends - Satish and RJ Balaji. Read full review
