Black is a 2005 drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the film stars Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The film won many awards at major ceremonies. Paul and Catherine were blessed with a baby girl Michelle and to their shock, she turns out to be blind, deaf and dumb. Some years later, Sarah is born and Michelle becomes violent because of her disabilities. Moments before Paul sends her to an asylum, Debraj Sahai an alcoholic, deranged teacher for the blind arrives and decides to bring colours in her world of darkness known as BLACK.
