Batla House is an Indian Hindi Thriller drama movie written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Nikhil Advani. It features Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham in the lead roles. This film will go on floors in September this year. This film is based on a real encounter at Batla House,in Jamia Nagar in Delhi that took place a decade ago on September 19th against Indian Mujahideen terrorists. Saif Ali Khan is portraying the role of encounter specialist and Delhi Police officer Mohan Chand Sharma, who led the police action, and was shot dead during the incident. Abraham will portray the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who has won eight President Gallantry Awards including one for this operation.
