1911 is a Hindi historical sports drama movie written and directed by Nikkhil Advani starring John Abraham in the lead role. The movie is said to be about an iconic 1911 football match set in Kolkata (then known as Calcutta) between Mohun Bagan and East Yorkshire Regiment in the Indian pre independence era.
