1888 is a forthcoming Indian Kannada thriller film, shot using the guerrilla filmmaking technique. The movie is set against the backdrop of demonetization and has won multiple international awards as an independent Kannada film. Neethu Shetty, Prathap Kumar, Adhvithi Shetty, Manju Raj, Pradeep Doddaiah, and Vikram Kumar are some of the actors who play significant roles in the film. Raghu Ramappa, a former Mr. India, makes a guest appearance in the movie. Debutante Sourabh Shukla has directed the film and written the story and screenplay. Pradeep is the director of photography, while Girish Hothur composed the music. Over 60% of the film was shot at night. Plot: When Demonetisation is announced in India, 3 unlikely characters come face to face. After the face-off, a car journey begins and some more characters come into picture. This results in a cat and mouse game with a very unexpected outcome.
