Shreya Dhanwanthary, born on August 29, 1988, is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi and Telugu films as well as web series. She rose to prominence in 2019 with her role as Zoya in the Amazon Prime Video web series "The Family Man." However, it was her portrayal of journalist Sucheta Dalal in the Sony LIV web series "Scam 1992" in 2020 that earned her widespread critical acclaim.

Dhanwanthary was born in Hyderabad to a Hindi-speaking father and a Telugu-speaking mother. She spent her early years in Dubai before relocating to Delhi. She completed her education in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Warangal.

Her journey in the entertainment industry began when she participated in Femina Miss India South 2008, where she secured the 1st Runner-Up position. This led to opportunities in Telugu films such as "Josh" and "Sneha Geetham." She made her Bollywood debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in the film "Why Cheat India." Additionally, Dhanwanthary is also an author, having written a book titled "Fade To White."

Her breakthrough came with the web series "The Family Man," where she portrayed the character of Zoya in both the first and second seasons. In 2020, she gained further recognition for her exceptional performance as Sucheta Dalal in the web series "Scam 1992." More recently, she appeared as Mansi in the Amazon Prime web series "Mumbai Diaries 26/11," directed by Nikkhil Advani and featuring renowned actors like Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, and Tina Desai.

In the media realm, Dhanwanthary was ranked 43rd on The Times of India's "Most Desirable Women List" in 2020.
