Bio:
Shahid Kapoor is a popular Bollywood actor and son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. In Mumbai, he joined Shiamak Davar's dance academy. He appeared as a background dancer in a few films of the 1990s, and was later featured in music videos and television commercials. Kapoor made his film debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishk for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He followed it with roles in several commercial failures before starring in Sooraj Barjatya's Vivah (2006). Later he was seen in Jab We Met (2007), Kaminey (2009), R... Rajkumar (2013), Haider (2014) and Udta Punjab (2016)and Kabir Singh (2019). In March 2015, Kapoor married Mira Rajput with whom he has a daughter.
