Shahana Goswami is an Indian actress, known for her work in films and theater. She is the daughter of Indian economist and writer Omkar Goswami.

In her early career, Shahana Goswami auditioned for a role in Naseeruddin Shah's directorial debut, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota, through her theater connections. She then had a small role as Boman Irani's daughter in Reema Kagti's Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. by chance, when she visited the production house for another purpose. Her work in Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota caught the attention of a cinematographer who recommended her for the lead role in Ru Ba Ru, directed by Arjun Bali, where she starred alongside Randeep Hooda. She began shooting for Ru Ba Ru in Bangkok before being cast in Rock On!!.

Shahana Goswami's friends, Shaanu Sharma and Simran, who were involved in casting for Rock On!!, suggested her name to director Abhishek Kapoor. She auditioned and landed the role of Debbie, which earned her the Filmfare Best Actress (Critics) award.

She also appeared in the music video for Dido's "Let's Do the Things We Normally Do" as a taxi driver in Mumbai and featured in a Fevicol commercial set in a village in Rajasthan.

Shahana Goswami's first international project was Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children (2013), based on Salman Rushdie's Booker Prize-winning novel. She also played the female lead in Vara: A Blessing, directed by Khyentse Norbu, which was shot in Sri Lanka. Her performance in Vara earned her the Asian Award for Best Actress.

In the upcoming web series "Bombay Begums," directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Shahana Goswami will be seen alongside Pooja Bhatt, Amruta Subhash, Plabita Borthakur, and Aadhya Anand.
