S. A. Chandrasekar (born 2 July 1945) is an Indian film director, producer, writer, and actor who primarily works within Kollywood. He made his directorial debut with Aval Oru Pachai Kuzhanthai (1978). Chandrasekhar has directed in over 60 movies in Tamil. Some of his hits include Vetri, Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Naan Sigappu Manidhan, and Mutham. He also directed some Telugu movies such as Chattaniki Kallu Levu with Chiranjeevi. He has appeared in some movies like Naan Sivappu Manithan in a supporting role. He got his breakthrough with Sattam Oru Iruttarai (1981).
