Parvathy made her presense felt in her second movie 'Notebook' which gained major media attention due to its theme of teen pregnancy where she played as that teen. She featured as supporting roles in other malayalam movies but made her first lead role in the Kannada movie Milana which became a commercial success. She featured in many Kannada movies and malayalam movies but didn't make much of a name. But Bangalore days brought her into the limelight which paved the way for many movies for her and which upraised her appearance and screen presense and personality. As much as an actress she is also an influencer. Parvathy won the Best Actress award for the movie Poo and also Ennu Ninte Moideen.
