Bio:
Hugh Michael Jackman is an Australian actor, singer, and producer known for his versatility in major films and Broadway. He gained international fame as Wolverine in the X-Men series and starred in Kate & Leopold (2001), Van Helsing (2004), The Prestige (2006), Australia (2008), Les Misérables (2012), and Prisoners (2013). His performance in Les Misérables earned him an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe. Jackman won a Tony for The Boy from Oz and an Emmy for hosting the Tony Awards. Born in Sydney to English parents, he has a communications degree from the University of Technology Sydney and trained at WAAPA.
