Dayanand Chandrashekhar Shetty is an Indian film and television actor and model, best known for his role as Senior Inspector Daya in India's longest-running television police procedural, CID. He was inducted into the Gold Awards Hall of Fame in 2018. He is an actor and writer, known for C.I.D. (1998), Johnny Gaddaar (2007) and Runway: Love Among Gun Shots... (2009).
