Bradley Charles Cooper is an American actor and producer who gained recognition with his breakout role in the 2009 comedy film The Hangover. He has since appeared in a number of critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies like Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and American Sniper. Cooper has been nominated for nine Academy Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award, winning a British Academy Film Award and two Grammy Awards. He is an alumnus of the Actors Studio Drama School and made his feature film debut with the 2001 romantic comedy Wet Hot American Summer. In 2015, Cooper became only the tenth actor in history to receive an Academy Award nomination in three consecutive years.
