Arun Govil is an Indian actor. He is best known for portraying Lord Rama in the Ramayan TV series. He also appeared in films like Paheli, Sawan Ko Aane Do, Saanch Ko Aanch Nahin, Jiyo To Aise Jiyo, Himmatwala, Dilwaala, and Govinda Govinda.Govil made his television debut with Ramanand Sagar's Vikram Betaal and in 1987 he starred in Ramayan and became a household name.
