S. Ajith Kumar is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. To date, he has starred in over 61 films, and won four Vijay Awards, three Cinema Express Awards, three Filmfare Awards South and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
Ajith Kumar is a prominent actor in Tamil cinema, known for his versatility and impactful performances. He began his journey with a supporting role in a Telugu film and gained critical acclaim in the Tamil thriller Aasai (1995). His early successes as a romantic hero include Kadhal Kottai (1996) and Kadhal Mannan (1998). Ajith ventured into method acting with notable films like Vaali (1999), Mugavaree (2000), Kandukondain Kandukondain (2000), and Citizen (2001). Transitioning into action roles, he delivered hits like Amarkalam (1999), Dheena (2001), Villain (2002), Varalaru (2006), and Billa (2007). With three Filmfare Best Actor Awards, he continues to excel across genres, from romantic dramas to action thrillers.
