Emraan Hashmi is an Indian film actor who works primarily in Hindi cinema. He was born on March 24, 1979, in Mumbai, India. Emraan began his acting career in 2003 with the film "Footpath" and gained recognition for his role in the crime thriller "Murder" in the same year.
He went on to star in a number of successful films including "Gangster," "Jannat," "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai," "The Dirty Picture," and "Hamari Adhuri Kahani." Emraan is known for his portrayals of complex and unconventional characters, often featuring in films with strong romantic and sexual themes.
In addition to acting, Emraan has also worked as a producer and has co-written a book titled "The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer," which chronicles his son's battle with cancer. Emraan has received several awards for his performances, including three Filmfare Award nominations.
