Telugu audience have been deprived of a nice detective Comedy movie since Chiranjeevi's chantabbayi, which released in 1986. ASSA raised our hopes to fill this gap since the teaser itself, but the movie doesn't outperform Chantabbayi in any way but does best in its own style. Colourful Desi adaptation of the Korean Drama 'Ode to my father' has all added ingredients of a Salman Khan film, there is action, there is emotion and there are songs. The original story itself is so strong that it makes you ignore the half-baked scenes of this adaptation. The movie is made for the classes and masses, hence serves its purpose.... Read more

Raw and Rustic! A Remake which doesn't feel like one, the story is adapted so smartly. Indeed there are some cinematic touches but Overall movie tries to be as realistic as watchable.
