RRR Report: SS Rajamouli and team share new video from shooting spot

Director SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and the rest of the RRR team have resumed shoot in Hyderabad. The official Twitter handle of RRR released a video about how they prepared themselves to begin the film's shoot again. The one-minute-long video shows the film sets being cleaned up, costumes getting ready for the actors and temperature checks happening on the shooting location.

Towards the end of the video, RRR team revealed that Jr NTR's character Komaram Bheem will be introduced on October 22. The team was supposed to release the character look on Jr NTR's birthday on May 20. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the RRR team couldn't release the teaser.

Ram Charan, who plays Alluri Seetharama Raju in the film, shared the video and said that Jr NTR's character look teaser is long pending. He further added that Jr NTR's birthday gift is getting ready and it will be unveiled on October 22. 

He wrote, "Lovely to be back on the sets of #RRR! My dear brother @tarak9999, something that was long overdue is getting ready and as promised I am gonna give you the best, this 22nd Oct (sic)," with the hashtag #RamarajuForBheemonOct22.

SS Rajamouli, on his part, wrote that this is the new normal and that everyone has to adapt to the changing environment. His tweet read, "Life has already become a new normal. We have to adapt to it and move on. And so our shoot resumes (sic)."

RRR is a fictional tale of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film's shooting was progressing at a brisk pace till March. Due to the pandemic, the shooting was halted. Produced by DVV Danayya, the period film is being made on a mammoth budget of Rs 450 crore.
