The first look of Rishab Shetty's film prequel, Kantara Chapter 1, is set to be revealed on a specific date.

The anticipation for the prequel to 'Kantara' is reaching new heights as the makers unveil its official title, Kantara: Chapter 1. In a recent announcement, the makers shared the date and time for the release of the first look poster, inviting audiences to step into the sacred echoes of the past. The announcement reads, “Step into the sacred echoes of the past, where divinity weaves through every frame. Stay enchanted for a glimpse into the unseen! IT'S NOT JUST LIGHT, IT'S A DARSHANA #KantaraChapter1 First Look on Nov 27th at 12:25 PM."

As for the film itself, Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to begin its journey with the Muhurat Pooja on November 27, followed by the commencement of principal photography in December. A grand set is being constructed for the film, where actor-director Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and the rest of the cast and crew will be present. Further casting details will be unveiled in due time.

In the meantime, Hombale Films is gearing up to treat audiences to the action-packed 'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire', starring the formidable duo Prashanth Neel and Prabhas. The film is slated for a worldwide release on December 22, 2023.
