Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra two desi queens made it to the most celebrated Red Carpet event in Hollywood, Met Gala 2019. It was proud moment for their Indian Fandom. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wore Dior for the occasion whereas Deepika was wearing a Zac Posen.

Priyanka Chopra wore a mesh and sheer gown with a thigh-high slit and feathered hem. She attached a feathered-hem cape to the outfit as well. Well they did serve a bit of drama for the fans.

Deepika Padukone, who played rather safe dressed as a Barbie in Pink Disney princess gown and with her exaggerated make-up. Deepika's team of stylists finished out her look with a dark lip colour and matching eye make-up complete with glitters

The newly married Jonas couples, Nick-Priyanka and Joe-Sophie, garnered special media attention. Deepika was alone at the Red Carpet but she did get photographed with her Bollywood counterpart there in the Met after party.

Indian twitterati were posting memes on Priyanka's dress for the occasion. No doubt it was quite daring as per Indian standards. But we are indeed glad to have a representation.
