Deepika Padukone has made herself to the list of new era red carpet royalty. Shortly after she was applauded for her Met Gala outfit by Zac Posen, she makes another strong follow-up. Only this time, she is attending the Cannes Film Festival at the French Riviera. Unlike the Met Gala, the Cannes Film festival has no particular theme and celebrities are in the liberty of wearing what they wish to. This paved the way for many tulles, feathers, sheer dresses, laces, power suits and more.

For the event, Deepika Padukone was styled by her go-to stylist, Shaleena Nanthani. She started off strong in an evening gown by Peter Dundas, the elaborate bow took the outfit to the next level. The look was completed off with jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz. On the second day, she experimented with a pant-suit by Loewe. The blue and white striped outfit was paired with neon orange heels by Stuart Weitzman. Up next was a black evening gown by Off White. A hint of neon green animal print along with green sunglasses finished the look. A sheer white top paired with white trousers was the perfect break from gowns. The ensemble was provided by Philosophy. To check florals off the list, Padukone picked an evening gown by Erdem and earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. She revealed her final outfit on the premiere of ‘Pain and Glory’. It was a massive tulle outfit by Giambattista Valli couture. The red carpet affair proved that Deepika Padukone and her stylist, Shaleena Nanthani came fully prepared to make heads turn.
