The Girlfriend Telugu Movie Review: A Relatable Story with Stellar Performances and Powerful Music

First half has some really good and relatable moments that connects with everyone. Interval scene is superb, though there are some pacing issues in between.

Second half is even better. It shows different points of view — from father, boyfriend, girlfriend and how others think about the situation. These scenes brings strong emotions and keeps you engaged till the end.

Rashmika Mandanna gives one of her best performances. Dheekshit Shetty also does a good job. Rao Ramesh and Rohini are there for a short time but make a strong impact with their acting.

Hesham Abdul Wahab’s songs are nice and Prashanth R Vihari’s background score lifts every scene and gives goosebumps.

Writer and director Rahul has done a good job in telling a simple yet powerful story that feels real and relatable. Dialogues and writing is natural and emotional. Movie also has very good production and technical values.

The Girlfriend is a good and emotional movie. Watch it for the story, performances and music. Everyone should watch it once.
