Gatha Vaibhava Storyline: Gatha Vaibhava follows Adhunika (Ashika Ranganath), a horticulturist haunted by memories of past lives, and Purathan (Dushyanth SS), a VFX artist who resembles the man she believes has journeyed with her through lifetimes. As they meet, three vivid eras unfold — Devaloka, fictional Portugal, and coastal Karnataka — revealing the truth behind their eternal bond.
Review: Simple Suni reinvents his signature romance with Gatha Vaibhava, crafting a visually lush, multi-era love saga that blends fantasy, mythology, history, and folklore. Instead of a modern romance, he ambitiously traces two souls across four lifetimes.
Dushyanth SS impresses in his debut as Purathan, while Ashika Ranganath anchors the film with grace and emotional depth as Adhunika — the woman whose dreams unlock the past. Their story begins with a sketch that triggers buried memories, leading to narratives set in Devaloka, a stylised Portugal, and 19th-century coastal Karnataka. Each era is distinct, rich in detail, and emotionally textured.
Supporting actors such as Kishan Bilagali, Sudha Belwadi, Krishna Hebbale, Chiru S, and Karthik Rao add flavour, though the spotlight firmly stays on the leads.
Technically, the film dazzles — polished visuals, imaginative VFX, and Judah Sandy’s evocative score elevate the experience. Smooth transitions between timelines keep the narrative engaging across its 2-hour-22-minute runtime.
Verdict: A visually enchanting, emotionally satisfying romantic fantasy that stands out for its sincerity, scale, and soulful performances.
