Baaghi 4 movie Review: Action Without Anchor
Modified On: 05 September 2025 | Reviewed By: Team MoviekoopBaaghi 4 movie Review: 🌟🌟 (2/5) Stylish, Loud, Hollow, Exhausting

Story at a Glance
Naval officer Ronny (Tiger Shroff) is haunted by hallucinations after surviving a near-fatal crash. He clings to memories of his love Alisha (Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu), even as his brother Jeetu (Shreyas Talpade) insists she doesn’t exist. When Ronny’s visions blur with reality, secrets unravel — but are they the truth or just delusions?
Narrative & Direction
Director A Harsha kicks things off with a high-octane fight sequence, only to reveal it’s a hallucination. From there, Sajid Nadiadwala’s story juggles between illusion and reality, aiming for intrigue with a non-linear format. Instead, it becomes a muddled mess — stuffed with characters, forced songs, and inconsistent pacing.
The first half overstretches with backstories, a fresh romantic angle with Olivia (Sonam Bajwa), and relentless fights. The second half brings Sanjay Dutt’s villain into the frame and piles on revelations, but the suspense feels half-baked and unconvincing.
Performances
Tiger Shroff: Carries the film’s action on his shoulders, excelling in stunts and intense scenes.
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu: Lends freshness and charm, though her role is limited.
Shreyas Talpade: Underwritten as Ronny’s brother, with hints of deeper conflict left unexplored.
Sonam Bajwa & Saurabh Sachdeva: Wasted in underdeveloped arcs.
Sanjay Dutt: Swaggering presence but bogged down by the weak narrative.
Supporting Cast: Upendra Limaye and Sudesh Lahiri feel misfit as comic fillers.
Action & Technicals
The action design — credited to Venkat, Stun Siva, Kecha Khamphakdee, and Kevin Kumar — is bone-crunching but heavily derivative of Animal and other recent actioners. Hammers, axes, and elaborate costumes (bejewelled masks included) add style but often tip into parody.
Music by Agaaz, Badshah, Tanishk Bagchi, and Payal Dev–Aditya Dev interrupts the narrative instead of elevating it. Loud dialogues like “Tera torture mera warm-up hai” aim for punch but land flat.
Where It Stumbles
Overcrowded screenplay with too many half-baked characters
Predictable twists that fail to shock
Weak emotional core, especially the Ronny–Jeetu dynamic
Style overshadowing substance
Verdict
Baaghi 4 thrives on Tiger Shroff’s physicality and stylised action, but its hollow narrative and overindulgence make it more tiresome than thrilling. Fans of high-octane stunts may find scattered moments of adrenaline, but as a whole, this fourth outing is all flash, little fire.
