Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom Release Postponed to July 4

Originally slated for a May 30 release, Vijay Deverakonda’s spy thriller Kingdom has been pushed to July 4, 2025. The makers cited recent national developments and promotional challenges as reasons for the delay.

Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated film Kingdom, directed by Jersey fame Gowtham Tinnanuri, will no longer hit theatres on its initially planned date of May 30, 2025. The makers have officially confirmed that the spy action thriller will now release on July 4, 2025.

In a statement released on May 14, the production team explained the reason behind the postponement:

The makers also expressed gratitude to producers Dil Raju and actor Nithiin for their cooperation, as the original release date would have clashed with Nithiin’s upcoming film Thammudu.

Starring Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, Kingdom is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
