Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ May Release in Two Parts, Confirms Producer

Vijay Deverakonda returns to action with Kingdom, a spy thriller directed by Jersey filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film, slated for release on July 31, 2025, pairs Vijay with newcomer Bhagyashri Borse and actor Satyadev in a pivotal role. A major update from producer Naga Vamsi reveals that Kingdom could be split into two parts. He shared that the story has been structured with proper conclusions in Part 1 while naturally opening up possibilities for a sequel.

Shot extensively in Sri Lanka, the big-budget drama casts Vijay as a cop and is said to feature intense action sequences and emotional family dynamics. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who previewed the film, praised it enthusiastically, calling it “superb.” The buzz has further intensified as Netflix has reportedly secured digital rights for a massive ₹50 crore.
