The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh teased fans with a vintage poster of Pawan Kalyan in a classic black suit and hat, hiding his face with retro charm. A full glimpse drops on his 54th birthday, Sept 2. Directed by Harish Shankar, the cop-actioner stars Sreeleela, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh have dropped a brand-new poster, teasing fans with a vintage-inspired look of Pawan Kalyan. Dressed in a classic black suit with a tilted hat partly hiding his face, the Power Star exudes retro charm in a striking pose. The makers have promised that the full glimpse will be unveiled tomorrow, September 2, as a special birthday treat for Pawan Kalyan, who turns 54.
Sharing the poster on social media, the team wrote, “FULL MEALS TOMORROW at 4.45 PM #UstaadBhagatSingh – Stay tuned! Our director Harish Shankar presenting the man he loves, in the way we all love him.” This exciting announcement has heightened the buzz around the film and turned Pawan Kalyan’s birthday celebrations into a festival for his fans.
In the film, Pawan Kalyan will be seen playing the role of a police officer, a character that has earned him massive love in the past. Directed by Harish Shankar, with whom Kalyan earlier delivered the blockbuster Gabbar Singh (a remake of Salman Khan’s Dabangg), the project carries high expectations. Actress Sreeleela plays the female lead, while Raashii Khanna will appear in a special role, supported by a strong ensemble cast from Telugu cinema.
The makers revealed that the high-voltage climax sequence was wrapped up earlier in June. They shared behind-the-scenes moments of the actor-director duo, noting how despite his responsibilities as Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan completed the schedule with dedication. They described the climax as “an electrifying mix of action and emotions, executed under the supervision of action master Naba Kanta.”
Interestingly, Ustaad Bhagat Singh was first pitched as an adaptation of Vijay’s Tamil blockbuster Theri. However, director Harish Shankar later reworked it into a fresh narrative designed to match Pawan Kalyan’s larger-than-life screen presence. With Devi Sri Prasad composing the music and Pawan Kalyan back in a cop avatar, fans are eagerly awaiting this high-octane entertainer.
