Siddu Jonnalagadda leads Neeraja Kona’s daring debut Telusu Kada, a raw, emotional exploration of love, ego, and modern relationships.

If anyone assumed Telusu Kada would be a breezy romantic comedy, its newly released trailer quickly shatters that impression. Starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty, the film dives deep into an intense exploration of love, ego, and choice, far removed from its earlier soft-romance promotions.

The trailer opens with Siddu’s bold declaration — “Men shouldn’t cry in front of women because it gives them power.” With that single line, the tone is set: raw, witty, and provocatively honest. What begins as a seemingly playful love triangle soon spirals into an emotional storm, as Siddu’s character finds himself torn between two women, each representing a different dimension of affection and independence.

Director Neeraja Kona, making her directorial debut after an acclaimed career as a celebrity stylist, doesn’t hold back in portraying the messy realities of modern relationships. Siddu’s performance captures both charm and chaos, while Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty deliver layered portrayals that go beyond typical romantic leads.

Technically, the film impresses — Gnana Shekar VS’s cinematography paints a moody, stylish palette that enhances the story’s emotional volatility. S Thaman’s pulsating score intensifies the tension, and Naveen Nooli’s editing keeps the narrative sharp and unpredictable.

Backed by People Media Factory and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Telusu Kada seems poised to be much more than a love story — it’s a raw reflection on human emotion and identity.

Releasing this Diwali on October 17, the film will clash with Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp and Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali, but judging by the trailer’s daring tone, Siddu Jonnalagadda’s latest outing might just emerge as the dark horse of the festive season.
