Spirit: Prabhas-Sandeep Reddy Vanga Film Locks March 5, 2027 Release

The makers of Spirit have officially announced the film’s release date, confirming that the highly anticipated project starring Prabhas will hit theatres worldwide on March 5, 2027.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga unveiled a striking poster to mark exactly one year until the film’s release, teasing what appears to be an intense and violent narrative. The poster shows Prabhas with his hands wrapped in white bandages, hinting at a gritty and action-heavy storyline.

The visual quickly sparked debate among fans online. While some believed the image looked so realistic that it might be an actual still from the film, others speculated that it could have been generated using artificial intelligence. Regardless of the debate, fans widely agreed that Prabhas looked stylish and powerful in the announcement poster.

The film also stars Triptii Dimri as the female lead. She joined the project after Deepika Padukone exited the film earlier.

Actors Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj were initially reported to be part of the cast. However, rumours about a fallout between Prakash Raj and the director surfaced recently. Addressing speculation on social media earlier, Prakash Raj dismissed the rumours and criticised what he called “fake news.”

Recent reports now suggest that he may no longer be involved in the project, although the makers have yet to issue an official confirmation or announce a replacement.

With its intense first poster and a high-profile collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit is already generating significant buzz as one of the most anticipated Indian films slated for 2027.
