Peddi Trailer Out: Ram Charan Fights for His People Beyond the Playground

The makers of Peddi have officially released the trailer of the much-awaited sports action drama starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film promises a powerful mix of sports, action, and emotional drama set against a rural backdrop.

The three-minute trailer introduces Ram Charan as Peddi, a beloved village hero celebrated for his excellence across multiple sports including cricket, wrestling, and sprinting. The character is portrayed not only as a sporting icon but also as a natural leader who stands up for his people during difficult times.

One of the standout moments in the trailer comes when a group of youngsters unanimously name Peddi as their favourite player, regardless of the sport. The dialogue describing him as “a deity on the playground” highlights his larger-than-life influence within the village.

The trailer also showcases Ram Charan in different physical transformations, shifting between a lean athlete and a heavily built wrestler. His intense screen presence is amplified by powerful dialogues and action-packed visuals.

The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, Ravi Kishan, and a special appearance by Boman Irani.

Peddi is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026, with premiere shows scheduled a day earlier in select locations.
