Nithiin Gears Up for an Emotional Comeback in Thammudu

After helming hits like MCA and Vakeel Saab, director Sriram Venu returns with Thammudu, an emotionally charged action drama starring Nithiin in the lead. The film revolves around the deep bond between a brother and sister, with veteran actress Laya playing Nithiin’s sister.

The recently released trailer has been generating buzz for its well-crafted edit that manages to keep the plot and conflict under wraps while delivering impactful glimpses of intense action and emotional depth. Nithiin portrays an archer who embarks on a mission to save his sister from danger, setting the stage for a gripping narrative.

Thammudu features high-octane stunts, a stirring background score, and striking visuals — thanks to a talented crew that includes top technicians like cinematographer Guhan and composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The trailer strongly hints at a potential comeback for Nithiin, who has faced a string of box-office disappointments in recent times.

Backed by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is the most expensive venture of Nithiin’s career. It also stars Saptami Gowda, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva in key roles. Thammudu is set for a global theatrical release on July 4.
