Nenu Ready teaser sets up a fun culture-clash comedy between an Andhra boy and a Telangana girl, with Havish and Kavya Thapar leading the laughs.
The teaser of Nenu Ready, an out-and-out entertainer starring Havish and directed by Thrinadha Rao Nakkina, was unveiled on Monday. Produced by Nikhila Koneru under the Harniks India LLP banner, the film features Kavya Thapar as the female lead. Notably, the teaser had earlier been screened in theatres alongside Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, giving audiences an early glimpse into its comic world.
The teaser introduces a breezy, light-hearted premise centred on cultural contrasts. Havish plays a responsible, middle-class Andhra youth employed in a private firm, whose engagement to a middle-class Telangana girl sets off a series of humorous situations. What follows is a playful clash of traditions, food habits, and lifestyles, forming the backbone of the comedy.
Known for drawing humour from everyday life, director Thrinadha Rao Nakkina leans into his strength once again. The comedy emerges naturally from relatable conflicts, such as the bride’s family being ardent non-vegetarians while the groom’s household strictly follows vegetarian customs.
Havish fits seamlessly into the role of a sincere breadwinner, delivering a convincing performance ⚡ with effective comic timing. Kavya Thapar brings charm and sparkle as the Nizam girl, and the chemistry between the lead pair adds to the film’s appeal. The presence of seasoned comedians like Brahmanandam, Srilakshmi, Vennela Kishore, and VTV Ganesh further promises a laughter-packed ride.
Technically, Nizar Shafi’s cinematography complements the film’s tone, while Mickey J Meyer’s energetic background score amplifies the humour. Nenu Ready is scheduled for a theatrical release in summer 2026.
