Nagarjuna Akkineni Announces Landmark 100th Film ‘King 100’ with Ra Karthik

Nagarjuna Akkineni, fresh from his powerful villainous turn in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, has officially announced his landmark 100th film, titled King 100. The film will be directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik, known for Nitham Oru Vaanam.

Speaking with actor Jagapathi Babu on the Zee Telugu show Jayammu Sikhamu Raa, Nagarjuna revealed that King 100 has been in planning for the past six months. “Ra Karthik narrated the story to me almost a year ago. It’s a huge film that combines action, family, and emotion. Now that Coolie has released, my complete focus will be on this project,” he said. He also emphasized that unlike his role in Coolie, he will be the protagonist this time.

Ra Karthik, whose previous film featured Ashok Selvan in three roles alongside Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali, and Shivathmika Rajasekhar, is set to bring his unique storytelling to this milestone project. With Nagarjuna taking center stage once again, King 100 promises to be a blend of mass action and emotional depth, raising excitement among fans eager to see their star headline his century film.
