Mohan Babu Joins Nani in Dystopian Epic The Paradise, Confirms Lakshmi Manchu

One of Telugu cinema’s most anticipated projects, The Paradise starring Nani, continues to generate buzz with every new reveal. The film, directed by Srikanth Odela of Dasara fame, has kept its ensemble largely under wraps. However, at the pre-release event of her film Daksha, Lakshmi Manchu confirmed that her father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, is playing a pivotal role in the big-budget dystopian actioner.

Speaking about his dedication, Lakshmi shared, “Even at this age, he is weight-training continuously for the role because the character requires a certain physique. No other actor his age would put in such effort, but my father still approaches every set with the curiosity and energy of a newcomer. On sets, he is truly inspiring.” She also praised her brother Manchu Manoj’s comeback in Mirai, calling it a story of resilience and determination.

Apart from Nani and Mohan Babu, the film also features Raghav Juyal in a prominent role. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, promising an energetic soundtrack to match the film’s dystopian scale.

Backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, The Paradise is slated to release on March 26, 2026. Adding to the anticipation, it will clash at the box office with Ram Charan’s Peddi, which hits screens a day later.

With Nani leading the charge, Mohan Babu bringing his gravitas, and Srikanth Odela helming the project, The Paradise is poised to be one of the landmark Telugu releases of 2026.
