Manchu Manoj Launches High-Voltage Vaanara Teaser

Vaanara steps into the spotlight with its power-packed teaser, unveiled by Manchu Manoj. The film marks the ambitious debut of Avinash Thiruveedhula, who takes on the dual responsibility of director and lead actor. Set against the backdrop of a mythological rural drama, the film stars Simran Choudhary as the female lead, with Nandu portraying the antagonist.

Produced by Avinash Buyani, Alapati Raju, and C Ankit Reddy, Vaanara also features dialogues by noted writer Sai Madhav Burra and music composed by Vivek Sagar.

During the launch, Manchu Manoj praised Avinash’s dedication, calling his dual role exceptional for a first-time filmmaker. He emphasised that in today’s cinema, content reigns supreme, transcending budget and scale. Manoj also shared an emotional note, stating that Avinash has fulfilled his father Hanumantha Rao’s dream of seeing him as a hero. He added that scenes featuring veteran actor Shivaji Raja moved him deeply and hinted at reviving his own project Aham Brahmasmi soon.

Shivaji Raja, who plays Avinash’s on-screen father, expressed optimism about the film’s success, recalling Manoj’s lucky track record with releases. He praised Avinash’s talent and hoped Vaanara would give him the recognition he deserves.

Avinash expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that becoming an actor was his late father’s dream and that the film took over two and a half years of dedicated effort. He thanked Manchu Manoj for supporting the team and launching the teaser.
